Independent program at Paypal Melbourne Fashion Festival to offer export workshops

Paypal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2024 will run from February 24 – 28 and will host a series of glamorous runway shows and events. An Independent Program highlighting culture and arts will also include Export Workshops that will offer free access to Export assistance for small business in the fashion, textile, clothing, footwear, leather, accessories, creative, and related industry sectors across Australia.

The TCF Australia workshops explore fashion in the realms of culture and the arts, and looks at the fashion business beyond the runway or as a retail experience.

TCF Australia will run a three-session Export Workshop on Wednesday, February 28 at the Duke of Wellington Hotel, 146 Flinders Street Melbourne. The series of free TCF Australia Export Workshops include:

1) Introduction to Exporting & Importing, 10am-12noon   Basic steps to lower your risks. Topics include Research, Contracts, Logistics, Costings, Incoterms, IP, Grants.

2) Export Guide for Small Business, 1pm-3pm   Develop your success plan for global trading & case studies. Topics include Finance, FTA’s, ATT, Forex, IP, Incoterms, Pricing, Risks, Grants.

3) Writing your Export Marketing Plan, 4pm-6pm   Global Marketing Opportunities, Asia, USA, UK Topics include Trade Events, Exhibitions, Agents, Linkages, Supply Chains, Austrade, Country Insights, Grants.

Beginners through to the existing exporter looking to update their export opportunities will learn valuable information in the TCF Australia Export workshops.

Venue: The Duke of Wellington Hotel, Russell Room, 146 Flinders Street, Melbourne. Nibbles, tea/coffee and juice will be provided.
