Performance art comes to Centrestage

Following the lifting of Covid_19 restrictions, the annual Centrestage fashion event will run a full in-person event in Hong Kong  from September 6 -9.

Dubbed as Asia’s fashion spotlight event, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council organised Centrestage will be divided into zones: Allure  – showcasing excellence in craftsmanship, refinement and elegance; Iconic- featuring contemporary chic and avantgarde designs and Metro –  displaying casual, youthful expressions of urban life.

The event will be staged at the Hong Kong Convention and Conference Centre in Wanchai.

The opening gala show will feature Centrestage Elites which will highlight fashion brands FETICO, founded by Japanese designer Emi Funayama and REDEMPTIVE, by HK designer Wilson Choi. Now in its eighth edition, Centrestage will also feature the  Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers Contest.

Four local designer labels will collaborate with Hong Kong Ballet in the Fashion Hong Kong Runway Show in a performance that combines fashion and dance.

The trade fair is targeted at delegates 18 + andwill be open to members of the public on September 8 and 9.
