Centrestage presented “A World of PHYGITAL” last year in response to uncertainties brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and the limitations it put on travel world-wide.
Combining a traditional fashion shows with computer generated imagery, the event became a platform for Asian designers and brands to overcome geographical and time limitations to showcase their latest designs to buyers and fashionistas. The HKTDC and Vogue Hong Kong collaborated last September to debut a brand-new digital platform that introduced over 200 designers and their brands and collections.
In 2021, Centrestage once again presents “A World of PHYGITAL” powered by Vogue with the theme Inclusion+Diversity. Traditional fashion shows will merge with computer generated imagery and the online event will showcase the latest collections of international and Asian fashion brands and designers. Staged during September at the HKECC, Centrestage will reflect cultural diversity and the global trend to embrace and reconcile difference by exposing viewers to various perceptions of aesthetics.
Around 240 designers and brands are expected to take part in Centrestage which runs from September 10 – 12.
In lieu of the ongoing Global Health Emergency due to COVID-19 & travel restrictions imposed on various countries, fair organisers request you to check the actual status of the event directly with the organisers first. For further information visit: https://centrestage.com.hk/
